1828 1/2 C 13 Stars, C-3, B-2, R.1, MS65 Brown NGC. Manley Die State 4, as usual. Several stars are weak, but the strike is otherwise pleasing. As is expected for the Gem grade level, the surfaces are well-preserved with considerable luster. Largely burgundy-brown, but with noticeable red hues in the recesses. Our EAC grade AU55.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 222V, Variety PCGS# 35261, Base PCGS# 1147, Greysheet# 80917)
