Lustrous 1829 C-1 Half Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
1829 1/2 C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. C-1, B-1, R.1. Hints of violet combined with light brown toning, accompanying considerable light orange mint color on both sides of this splendid Gem. This early die state example has weak, but full, obverse and reverse borders. While Mint State 1829 half cents are encountered quite frequently, few survive with original mint color. MRB MS63.
