Prooflike 1833 Half Cent, MS64 Red and Brown NGC, B-1, C-1, R.1.
1833 1/2 C MS64 Red and Brown Prooflike NGC. B-1, C-1, R.1. Sharply defined with noticeable die clash marks (as struck) on the reverse. An attractive mix of lilac-red and cobalt-blue coloration shows on each side, perhaps a bit deeper on the reverse. The fields are glassy and Prooflike, a very unusual feature for a half cent. This blemish-free near-Gem is certain to please the connoisseur. One of just two coins graded as Prooflike by NGC, and both are also designated as MS64 Red and Brown (11/05).(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 222Z, PCGS# 1163, Greysheet# 559)
