Description

1835 C-1, B-1, Half Cent, MS64 Red
Vibrantly Lustrous

1835 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1, MS64 Red PCGS. Manley Die State 2.0, multiple sets of clash marks. Possibly a hoard coin, given the amount of original mint red remaining. The obverse border is strong, showing complete star centrils and dentils, while the reverse dentils are weak along the upper rim. A few traces of olive tinting on the portrait serve to highlight the vivid orange-red luster that encompasses each side, and there are only a few faint flecks visible beneath a loupe. Our EAC grade MS64.
