1849 1/2 C Large Date, C-1, B-4, R.2, MS64 Brown PCGS. Glimmers of mint Red reside in the design crevices, but most of this sharply struck Choice half cent is medium brown. Uncommonly free from marks, and carbon is equally minimal. A moderately prooflike example of the first business date of the Braided Hair design. Our EAC grade MS62.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 35318, Base PCGS# 1218, Greysheet# 80927)
