1853 1/2 C MS65 Brown PCGS. B-1, C-1, R.1. A well struck Gem that has a seemingly pristine reverse and a well preserved portrait. Hints of rich copper-gold color enliven the chocolate-brown surfaces. The obverse has a blush of powder-blue iridescence at 9 o'clock. A small die lump near the cheekbone is characteristic of the issue. MRB MS60+. Population: 35 in 65 Brown, 2 finer (2/10).(Registry values: P1)
