One of the Finest Examples Certified
1855 1/2 C C-1, B-1, R.1, MS65+ Red PCGS Secure. A small
mintage of 56,500 coins ensures the popularity of this late-date
half cent with collectors. This high-end Gem ranks among the top
examples extant by the margin of the Plus designation. Fire-orange
surfaces are characteristically defined at the rims and stronger in
the centers. Bright mint luster, and minimal carbon spotting or
contact marks make this a remarkable survivor. Our EAC grade MS65.
