    Description

1855 1/2 C MS64 Red and Brown NGC. B-1, C-1, R.1. Considerable copper-gold luster glimmers from the letters, stars, and recessed areas of the portrait. Boldly struck aside from the right side denticles. A couple of tiny contact marks on the reverse rim and a faded pinscratch in the field near Liberty's chin prevent an even higher grade.
From the James L. Moore Collection.
