1855 1/2 C MS64 Red PCGS. C-1, B-1, R.1. Bright orange and red patina drapes both sides, with charming cherry-red luster in the fields. There are several grade-defining blemishes and flecks, but a loupe reveals only a few nearly imperceptible handling marks. A couple of stars are weakly struck, but the details are otherwise fully defined. One of just 56,500 pieces minted. EAC 65.(Registry values: P1)
