1857 1/2 C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. C-1, B-1, R.2. Satiny and unabraded with a suitable strike and rich forest-green centers and orange-gold margins. The high-points are plum-red. A low mintage date though a number were set aside upon issue. Housed in a former generation holder. Our EAC grade AU55.From the collection of Donald E. Bently, sold for the benefit of the Bently Foundation.(Registry values: P2)
