    (1835-36) HT-413 Philadelphia Corporation Token, XF45

    (1835-36) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Philadelphia Corporation, Low-149, HT-413, W-Pa-180-15j, R.7, XF45 NGC. German silver, plain edge. This is the usual variety of the Corporation of Philadelphia token that carries the denomination of 50 cents. There are perhaps 10 examples known and they rarely appear for sale. This is the first example that we have handled. Attractive light gray with light peripheral steel toning.
