    Conditionally Rare 1837 George A. Jarvis HT-284 Token

    New York 1837 NY Low 123, HT-284, R.1, George A. Jarvis, NY, NY, MS63 Brown NGC. Ex: Ford Sale. Leaves on reverse between legends. Almost 180 degrees of die rotation is seen, and the surfaces are a pleasant reddish-brown. Normally, the G.A. Jarvis HT-284 is a quite common variety, but in Select Uncirculated condition it is a condition rarity.
    Ex: John J. Ford, Jr. Collection, Part IV (Stack's, 6/04), lot 248. Earlier, Ford purchased the piece from the Capitol Coin Company on 1/29/62.
