    Make Way for 'Big Nose'

Distinctive Original Carving. The spectacled profile of "Big Nose" is unmistakable, although this Above Average example differs in many ways from other Big Nose nickels. The tall, domed hat is typical, but this gent lacks a moustache and sideburns. Only a lengthy goatee springs forth from the chin. LIBERTY remains, contrary to most examples. All else is typical of this collector-favorite carver, with the bold lines and outsized nose on full display. The skinny pair of spectacles is another Big Nose trait.
