Republic Standard 5 Centavos 1886, KM48, Y-19, AU50 NGC, 1.33 grams. With small pyramid which was the original format for this type starting in 1884. Often confused with the hoard coins dated 1886 or 1896 with the large castle, this original type is factually very elusive in better than very fine. This example is deeply struck and has some original color while yet lightly toned.From The Dana Roberts Collection.
