British India. Victoria gold Proof Restrike 5 Rupees 1870-(c) PR64 NGC, Calcutta mint, KM476, S&W-4.22. Mature bust. Glossy surfaces and some faint die polish lines in the fields, but relatively few actual hairlines or other marks. We have to think that this ranks on the upper-end of the PR64 level. Attractive and scarce; recent auction records suggest that the more mature bust variety is not nearly as often encountered as the younger bust.Metal: Gold
