Description

British India. George VI Rupee 1939-(b) MS62 NGC, Bombay mint, KM555. Reeded edge. Long recognized as a rarity within the British Indian series of coinage, this type is even more desirous in such a stunning, near-choice state of preservation. Displaying wondrous lustrous and sublimely argent surfaces, this rarity does not disappoint. Only two have been graded finer by NGC, and with that being said, the present example would appear to be conservatively graded to a degree. Radiating cartwheel brilliance abounds throughout, and will surely enchant the eyes of each and every collector.
