Victoria Eight-piece Restrike Prooflike (Proof) Set 1877 (C) consisting of: copper 1/12 Anna, KM483, Prooflike 64 Brown NGC; copper 1/2 Pice, KM484, Prooflike 63 Red NGC; 1/4 Anna, KM486, Prooflike 64 Red NGC; copper 1/2 Anna, KM487, Prooflike 63 Red and Brown NGC; silver 2 Annas, KM488, Proof 63 NGC; silver 1/4 Rupee, KM490, Proof 64 NGC; silver 1/2 Rupee, KM491, Proof 61 NGC; and silver Rupee, KM492, Proof 63 NGC. Complete Proof (or Prooflike) Restrike sets are very rare. We don't quite understand why NGC has graded the copper coins as Prooflike, and the silver coins as Proof, as all of the coins are Restrikes, and should be the same.Auction Info
