Kutch. Madanasinghji gold Mohur of 100 Koris VS 2004 (1947) MS66+ NGC, KMX-M8, Fr-1282. Mintage: 30. Struck using the silver 5 kori dies, this off-metal issue was minted for the coronation event and likely presented to some of the high-ranking attendees. Of those given, this is surely one of the finest, displaying bright golden surfaces, a bold strike and only the most trivial instances of contact. With a scant reported mintage of only thirty pieces, this coin is certain to become one of the most coveted Indian types of the 20th century.

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
