Attractively Toned Proof
1860 1C PR65 NGC. Snow-PR1. The 1860 Indian Cent proof is
the first-year issue to feature the oak wreath and shield reverse,
with a production of 1,000 pieces. This Gem proof is sharply struck
with a reflective array of lavender, ocean-blue and orange hues in
the fields contrasting with lustrous caramel and gold devices. Only
a couple of tiny carbon spots are visible under a loupe that
account for the grade, and a thin wire strikethrough extending from
