Description
1861 1C MS66 PCGS. The 1861 Indian cent had the lowest mintage of any copper-nickel composition issue, and is generally considered the scarcest of all dates. Of course, in Gem or Premium Gem quality, every one of these is tough to find. This is a sharply struck example with highly lustrous and frosty gold surfaces accented by delicate lilac toning.
