1861 1C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Pale copper-pink, orange, and tan elements mingle on this lovely Superb Gem, among the finest imaginable copper-nickel Indian cents. Both sides are remarkably detailed, even on the diamonds of the hair ribbon, and the luster is wonderful. PCGS has graded only one finer example (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227G, PCGS# 2061, GSID# 1292)
