Description
Premium Gem 1862 Indian Head Cent
Popular Civil War Issue
1862 1C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, no card. A
popular Civil War era date, the 1862 copper-nickel Indian Head cent
is reasonably available in lower grades, but examples in Premium
Gem condition are scarce. This delightful piece shows a little
softness on the diamonds, but the strike is sharp on the other
devices. The copper-red and golden-tan surfaces are virtually
pristine. Population: 58 in 66, 8 finer (8/10).From The Westmoreland County Collection, Part Three.(Registry values: N1793)
