Description

1862 1C MS66 PCGS. This honey-gold representative is sharply struck down to the tips of the feathers in Liberty's headdress. A die crack is noted at 3 o'clock on the reverse from the wreath to the rim. A delightful, satiny representative of this copper-nickel issue, available in most grades but very scarce as a Gem or better. PCGS has graded just seven finer representatives (7/07).(Registry values: N1793)
