1862 Indian Cent, MS67
Tied for Finest Certified
1862 1C MS67 NGC. This impeccable Superb Gem features a full
strike with bold feather tips and complete shield details. Both
sides have virtually flawless satin surfaces with brilliant
cartwheel luster. The obverse is brilliant gold with subtle blue
accents, and the reverse is tan with faint traces of gold
overtones. NGC has certified only 14 examples of the copper-nickel
type in MS67, with none finer for any issue. Census: 6 in 67, 0
