Premium Gem 1863 Indian Cent
1863 1C MS66 NGC. This is an exceptionally sharp example of this issue. Both sides boast lovely, consistent light reddish-copper surfaces, with a bold strike, save for the foremost headdress-feather tip. There is a shallow pinscratch above the date, but a loupe is necessary to detect it. Only a single coin has been certified in higher numeric grade by NGC and PCGS combined (6/10)..(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227J, PCGS# 2067, GSID# 1294)
