Important Red Superb Gem 1864 Cent
No L, Bronze Alloy
1864 1C Bronze No L MS67 Red NGC. This outstanding Superb
Gem has a razor-sharp strike with the exception of the lower left
obverse dentils, which slope slightly toward the field. Lustrous
and completely unabraded with orange and lemon surfaces save for
the infrequent small gray freckle. A significant find for the
competitive Registry collector. Population: 2 in 67 Red, 0 finer
(11/09).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2003), lot 5381.
