1864 1C L On Ribbon MS65 Red and Brown NGC. Peppered medium brown patina mixes with the bright red that radiates throughout. This attractive piece has virtually no marks or blemishes. The second T in STATES is weak, and the first few feathers on the headdress are a trifle soft, as typically seen. NGC has certified a mere 21 examples finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227M, PCGS# 2080, GSID# 1453)
