Lovely Red Gem 1864 Indian Cent, L on Ribbon
1864 1C L On Ribbon MS65 Red PCGS. An attractive survivor from the elusive L on Ribbon variant of the 1864 bronze cent. The pale copper-orange surfaces show subtle olive and lemon tints in the fields. The overall level of definition is excellent, and the four diamonds on the ribbon are fully outlined. Slight evidence of die erosion is present between the feathers of the headdress.
