1865 1C Fancy 5 MS65 Red PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal. The Fancy 5 date type (so-indicated on the holder by a sticker, presumably issued by Eagle Eye) has a sharp hook-shaped top to the 5. The striking details are boldly defined, including the feather tips and all four diamonds. Both sides are free of bothersome abrasions or carbon, though a tiny fleck is visible below the right stand of the M in AMERICA. Copper-gold luster is evident throughout. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder. Population: 44 in 65 (1 in 65+) Red, 10 finer (4/14).
