Description

1867 Cent, MS65 Red and Brown
Extremely Rare Any Finer

1867 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, card included. The Philadelphia Mint struck more than 9.8 million Indian cents in 1867, but the issue is a slightly better date in the series. Examples can still be found through the MS65 grade level with some searching, but finer Red and Brown coins are virtually unobtainable. Far more red than brown colors this bright Gem. The feathertips, diamonds, and shield are crisp and the surfaces are minimally abraded. PCGS has graded only two numerically finer Red and Brown specimens (1/24).(Registry values: N1793)
