    Description

Red Gem 1867/67 Indian Cent, Snow-1b

1867/67 1C MS65 Red NGC. FS-008, Snow-1b. The 67 in the date is widely repunched north. The raised die mark on the E in CENT identifies the 'b' reverse. Originally believed to be a Large 67 over Small 67 variety, but according to Rick Snow, Larry Steve and others determined that "the initial punching was squeezed to appear smaller by the second, stronger impression." A crisply struck and lustrous brick-red Gem, pleasing despite a small spot beneath the jaw. NGC Population: 2 in 65 Red, none finer (12/05).(Registry values: P7)

    Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 92090)

    Weight: 3.11 grams

    Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin & Zinc

Had we endeavored to sell it without your support, it would have taken us at least 10 lifetimes, i.e. it would have been impossible.
