1868 1C MS65 Red NGC. Dynamic luster sweeps this virtually unabraded Gem, which is also nearly free from flyspecks. Pumpkin-gold overall with slight mellowing to lilac on the left obverse. Encased in a prior generation holder. Census: 15 in 65 Red, 3 finer (11/09).Ex: Heritage, 3/2003, lot 11010, which realized $2,875.
