1869 1C MS64 Red PCGS. Snow-4. The 69 in the date is lightly repunched north. The lower mintage 1869 cent is scarce in all grades. This fully red near-Gem specimen displays bright golden luster laced with traces of rose. Well struck and unabraded. A few tiny light carbon flecks limit the numerical grade. Population: 42 in 64 Red, 35 finer (11/08).(Registry values: N1793)
