1869 1C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. The 1869 Indian cent claims a mintage of 6.4 million pieces, but examples in Gem condition with Red and Brown color are scarce today. This Gem exhibits sharply detailed devices and bright mint luster. Only 30 coins have been certified in higher numeric grades at NGC (1/11).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227T, PCGS# 2095, Greysheet# 1315)
