1869 1C MS65 Red and Brown NGC. FS-301, formerly FS-008.3. Snow-3. The 69 in the date is sharply repunched. Lavender centers are surrounded by a peripheral band of original and bright yellow-green luster. The details are nicely struck and seemingly unabraded. Faint fingerprint fragments on the reverse are all that prevent an even higher grade.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227T, PCGS# 2095, GSID# 1315)
