1870 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Light brown patina drapes the devices, which contrast nicely against the rose-red fields. The strike is nearly full, and a loupe locates only minor handling marks. Several die cracks are noted on the reverse. Population: 47 in 65 Red and Brown, 4 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 227U, PCGS# 2098, Greysheet# 1318)
