Description

1870 Indian Head Cent, MS65 Red
Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801

1870 1C MS65 Red PCGS. FS-801, Snow-14. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, no card. The doubling on this popular variety can be easily detected on the letters in ONE CENT. The blazing red surfaces of this Gem Indian cent are accented by wisps of lavender color, and all details are sharply rendered. The variety is definitely rare in higher Mint State grades.
