1870 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Ex: Richard Collection. A crisply struck Gem with pleasing cartwheel luster and lovely orange-gold color. The virtually unabraded surfaces provide exceptional eye appeal. The C in CENT is clashed near the bridge of the Indian's nose, and the chin and lips are doubled. A splendid representative of this scarce lower mintage date.
