With Much Original Red Remaining
1872 1C MS65 Brown PCGS. CAC. This Gem business strike has a
sharp strike with full horizontal and vertical lines in the shield,
despite showing slight weakness at the date. Designated as a Brown
example, but considerable original red luster remains on each side.
This is an ideal example of a "Brown and Red" Indian cent, if such
a designation was created. Population: 7 in 65 Brown, 0 finer
