1872 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS Gold Shield. CAC. Bold N in
ONE. Original red color mellows to chestnut-brown shades throughout
this Gem 1872 cent. Satin mint luster glows across the smooth,
mark-free surfaces. A few pinpoint flecks of brownish-gray toning
merge seamlessly into the attractive coloration of this sharply
struck example. The 1872 issue is rare any finer. PCGS reports 12
