Description

1872 1C Shallow N, FS-901, MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. As is the case with the 1870 and 1871 cents, 1872 cents with the obsolete Shallow N reverse subtype command a premium over their Bold N (in ONE) counterparts. Of course, any 1872 cent is desirable, due to its comparatively low mintage. This unabraded example is primarily wheat-gold but displays a glimpse of olive-green toning on the left obverse.
