MS65 Red and Brown

1873 1C Closed 3 MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Most of the Closed 3 Indian cents struck in 1873 show streaky surfaces from improperly mixed bronze alloy. Thus, Full Red Closed 3 cents are very elusive. Overall, the Closed 3 coins are approximately twice as scarce as their Open 3 counterparts. This is a fully struck example with generous portions of mint red remaining. Population: 21 in 65, 1 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)
