Sole Finest Red Example at NGC
1876 1C MS66+ Red NGC. Satiny copper-orange luster
illuminates carbon-free surfaces on this high-end Premium Gem Red
Indian cent. The strike is sharp, adding to the eye appeal. The
1876 is rarely offered this fine with full Red surfaces, and this
is the only Plus-designated example for the grade at NGC, with none
finer. PCGS reports a single Red coin finer. Census: 4 in 66 (1 in
66+) Red, 0 finer (6/22).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2283, PCGS# 2126, Greysheet# 1343)
