MS66 ★ Red and Brown
1878 1C MS66 ★ Red and Brown NGC. This coin has an immense
"wow" factor, which NGC recognizes with its Star designation. Both
sides display a technicolor palette ranging from yellow-orange to
violet, magenta, and jade, although the reverse has an intermingled
sprinkling of minor flecks. Sharply struck and virtually
contract-free, this coin simply gets no justice from a Red and
Brown description. Census: 1 in 66 ★ Red and Brown, 0 finer in any
