Description

1880 1C Doubled Die Obverse, Clashed Reverse, Snow-1, FS-101, MS65 Brown PCGS. CAC. Snow-1 is a popular die variety showing a heavy, misaligned die clash on the reverse. An impression of a rim and dentils is visible from the right side of the shield down through the E in ONE. On the obverse, minute die doubling is evident on LIBERTY. This Gem Brown coin displays satiny mint luster and well-struck design elements. Copper-orange, burgundy, and sea-green toning covers each side.
