1880 Clashed Reverse Cent
MS65 Red, Snow-1, FS-101
1880 1C Doubled Die Obverse, Clashed Reverse, Snow-1, FS-101,
MS65 Red PCGS. CAC. Eagle Eye Photo Seal, card included. An
example of the Off-Center Clashed Reverse variety, which also shows
slight doubling on LIBERTY. The reverse shows a widely off-center
clash mark in the area around NE, where the obverse die came in
contact. Lustrous orange-gold surfaces display sharply struck
design elements. Nicely preserved throughout.Ex: ANA Signature (Heritage, 8/2007), lot 139; FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2009), lot 343.
