Sharp MS66 Red 1881 Indian Cent
1881 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The strike on this piece is well delivered if a trifle short of absolute, but the brick-red surfaces in essentially pristine condition, with no distractions of even the remotest sort, leave little doubt regarding the accuracy of the Premium Gem grade assessment. Both sides are also entirely devoid of spots, large or small. PCGS has certified only 22 Red pieces in this grade, with four finer (2/09).From The Joseph C. Thomas Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
