1883 Cent, MS67 Red and Brown
Lustrous and Lovely
1883 1C MS67 Red and Brown PCGS. A splendid rose-red and
lemon-gold Superb Gem. The obverse is practically pristine, and the
reverse displays only a few tiny ticks near ONE CENT. The strike is
crisp, and carbon is inconsequential. The present lot is the sole
Red and Brown example to attain the MS67 level at PCGS, although a
few pieces are certified MS67 or MS67+ Red (6/23).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 228A, PCGS# 2146, Greysheet# 1363)
