A Difficult Date From the 1880s
1885 1C MS65 Red PCGS. CAC. The 1885 is the most challenging
date in the decade of the 1880s. The surfaces on this Gem are
remarkably bright and lustrous, showing just a tinge of pink in the
otherwise even red color on each side. The striking details are
complete in all areas, and there are no obvious abrasions. A
