Essential Registry Set Variety, 1894 Doubled Date Snow-1, MS65 Red

1894 1C Doubled Date MS65 Red PCGS. Snow-1. The 1894/94
Doubled Date is collected with the regular issues alongside a few
other varieties including the 1873 Doubled LIBERTY, the 1867/67,
and 1869/69. The variety features the most prominently repunched
date in the entire series, and this piece is currently one of only
11 Gem Red pieces certified at PCGS, with none finer (8/08). The
lustrous brick-red surfaces show wonderful eye appeal and a bold
strike. An essential acquisition for Registry Set collectors, this
rare PCGS-certified Gem Red coin is also worth a whopping
seven-point bonus in the PCGS Indian Cents with Varieties,
Circulation Strikes collection. Certified in a green-label holder
and accompanied by an Eagle Eye Photo Seal and certificate.
